We get so close to our little friends, don't we? We just have to appreciate the time we had with them, and that we were brought together for a while, at least.

Again, thanks to everyone who expressed concern and to our nurses here who gave great advice and shared their knowledge. I'm positive that this would have turned out differently if Vada had not had some other internal infection raging, but alas, it's over. She was my only GLW and a real beauty for a hatchery girl. I just pray nothing like this ever happens again.

I have been neglecting Tom.....

How is he doing right now? He should not beating himself about Vada. You just dont know when it will happen until it is too late. Things happen for a reason or no reason would be given at all.

Heads up Tom, it will be another bird out there that makes your heart pitter patter!

Two of you, it is ok to grieve about Vada and your other girls you have lost this year. It has been a very trying year!
