Possible neurological issue?

I have a new baby chick that is having some issues. He/She piped on Thursday evening but didn't make any progress till late Friday night when I finally helped him out a little. Saturday he still wasn't standing on his own. I gave him some vitamins and tried to make a brace for his legs but he just kicked it right off. Anytime I pick him up to try to get him to stand he always leans to the left and then just rolls around chirping loudly. I want to give him/her a fighting chance but I have a feeling that there is more going on. Suggestions?
