Hi guys,
I'm incubating two batches of silkies right now in two incubators. One batch has 4 developing right on time and is day 14. The other batch (down to one Lone Ranger!) is behind by 6 days.
When I candled the first 4 at 8 days I saw their eye and serious movement. Now when I candled my lone egg from batch 2 today which is at day 8 I could see movement but no black or dark outlines. It's all still very pink and red. I also think I can see what looks like a possible blood ring forming BUT she is still wriggling around in there.
What do you guys think??

I'm keeping everything crossed, it just looks so different from his brothers and sisters at the same stage. Will I be able to plonk him in the brooder with the others on his own if they're 6 days older than him? Xxx
