So around 8:30 A.M. i went outside and fed my dog and then went and checked on my ducks. Everybody was present, alive, and well so i went back in the house and waited for the dog to finish them finished chores (blah, blah, blah). I checked one them one more time in the morning.

Then i went around 4:30 P.M. to let them have some supervised foraging time outside the fence and one of my 10 week old pekins went missing. I plugged all the holes under the fence a handful of days before hand because they kept getting out so i know he didn't get out from under. The fence i have them in is 7 ft. high vinyl with no bars/decor with holes so and there was no tracks or anything and the ground has been total mush lately. And the neighborhood cats are too lazy to bother my birds.
So after i discovered that he was missing i checked all the usual hiding spots (no luck there) then searched every shrub, bush, hole, and under every car and anything else where a duck would hang out. I was also calling him and got no answer. After that i searched the neighborhood for a around an hour and a half and all the hawk hot spots no luck also found no feather piles or anything. I plan on calling all the shelters and vets in the morning just in cause someone found him

So opinions and advise? I'm super heartbroken because he is one of my most affectionate birds and my buddy.
