Possible Respiratory Infection?

I noticed one girl sitting alone, feathers puffed up. What really got me was how pale her eyelids were. On the second day I pulled her out and isolated her.

I believe it's a respiratory infection. She's got pale eyes, a bit of poo around the vent (whitish', and a lethargic, puffed up stance.

I dosed up a waterier with tetracycline, and she's absolutely going to town on it. It's a one quart water and she's about half way done with it and keeps drinking, eating intermittently too.

Anybody ever seen this before?

Hey hi ..

Pale Eyes?? A picture will help a lot as I don't heard about pale eyes ..

I hear about pale comb and pale face that possibly cause of anemia or any internal problem like parasites and external problems like lice and mites ..

Pasted vent?? Does she's cold or feeling chilled take her to a warm place give some electrolytes

Respiratory infections have symptoms like labord breathing , fast or slow breathing , weezing, rattling or funny noises while breathing , gurgling , coughing , sneezing , discharge from nostrils and eyes , swelling on face and on sinus and eyes ..these signs are the clear symptoms of respiratory infection ..

Using tetracycline i don't recommended as its a sensitive antibiotic and could disturb the gut micro flora . I would use some natural things if they don't seems work then I take antibiotic route .

Pls tell something ..
How's her crop feels like ..
How's she's behaving
Look on the poops does it watery??

How old is she? How does her poop look? With just these symptoms you describe, it could be something else, such as mites, coccidiosis, or other problem. With a respiratory disease, you should see one or more of sneezing, watery or bubbly eyes, gasping, wheezing, or swelling of an eyelid.

Get her drinking water, and add some electrolytes if possible. Offer some chopped egg, rinsed tuna, or add water to a little bowl of chicken feed to get her drinking. Let us know how she gets along.

She's about 3 years old. Poop is very pasty yellow/white, little to no brown.

I felt her vent area to check for swelling/internal laying, she felt normal. Her crop is very watery and bloated, but honestly, I think it's because she's been drinking constantly. She's nearly emptied the quart waterer since I brought her in at midnight last night.

It's winter and snow is on the ground- I've seen soure crop before, last time they got grass was about a week ago, so I'm not sure that's it.

Posting pics of her face/stool. Not sure how else to describe her but she doesn't look like she feels good
Eats sparingly, but is totally hugging water.

Egg yolk peritonitis could be a possibility at her age, with the yellow droppings and lethargy. Do her droppings appear to look like cooked egg material? Other possibilities would be coccidiosis, worms, or a crop problem. Tomorrow when stores are open, I would get some Poultry Cell or NutriDrench, and give her 2-3 ml daily a drop at a time. If you can get your local vet to do a fecal float on her droppings to rule out worms and coccidiosis, that may be good to do.

Ohh she look not well ..
I hope @casportpony will help u

Yellow egg yolk looking poo ..
Maybe egg yolk peritonitis ..

After seeing her picture I suggests u to take her to vet don't take chances she need right diagnose and proper treatment
