That's a rooster. He's still just a baby himself, so likes to snuggle with the littles.

Sometimes you'll get roos that are just super protective. I had one that was six weeks and super protective of his ladies. He'd cuddle them and then try to fight me if I got too close. But when I held my ground, he just wanted to be held and cuddle haha. I miss him
