Pretty sure we have a couple roosters. So this buff with the red and the white bird are the same in the pictures. same with the black and splash Orpington. The white orpington/auracauna mix is prolly like a month old now maybe a week or two more. the golden buffs are at least 2-3 weeks older. The buff with red and this white one keep flapping their wings and puffing their knecks in a stand down with each other and seems to be worsening. So are these two roosters like i suspect? If you seen any others that give question let me know but for the most part none of the others have sprouted that red big nose. First time chicken owner here. So thanks for the help. Also should I keep them on chick grower until they start laying? and with them being this feathered are they ready for the outside without a brooder light? I left the light off last night til I got home at 10 and they were all bunched up in the corner not really moving so I turned the light on and they happily walked back into their brooder setup. Is this just high preference of real warmth vs not having it.
