I got 5 Silkie chicks today and we noticed that one of the chicks ( we can't figure out which chick it is yet ) is pooping blood and at one point a worm looking thing. It looked pretty big and even though I'm not THAT experienced with chickens.. I know that's not normal. So are there any clues as to what it is or what can be done to stop it?

I ordered valbazen from jeffers supply.

I worm mine at least twice a year. You give 1/2 cc orally, undiluted, per standard bird. Bantams get 1/4 cc.
You'll want to lower the dose for chicks.

So it is worms and thats also causing the bleeding? The chicks range from 5-7 weeks old.
