1) Astrolorpe Chick 5 Weeks Standing but not eating or drinking on its own for 12 hours
2) Standing mostly sometimes laying and neck is tucked under chest, almost seizure like at times
3) Since middle of the night.(12 hours) this has been happening
4) other 2 chicks are fine. One from feed store and one I hatched. Separated them and sanitized everything.
5) No trauma or sign of injury it is strong, kicking back when I try to give it fluids
6) do not think anything happened.
7) not eating or drinking 12 hours
8) Hasn't pooped yet - Update: Pooped and looks normal.
9) Gave Corid in water mixture 2 tsp for 1 gallon by syringe - times today every 30-60 mins
10 ) intent is to administer support and only to vet if they can do more than I can
11) pics below, shavings are everywhere cause it’s flopping around in the fine shavings - changing to papertowels now
12) 75-80 degree large bin with fine pine shavings. Water up on a brick, clean and clean food. Very CLEAN.

So confused on what happened here? Have had chickens for years. Never seen Wry neck. But have seen Myrecks in older chickens. My babies have not left the house yet.

I HAVE CHICK UNDER MY DESK AT WORK IN A SMALL FABRIC ICE CHEST WITH A SOLID PLASTIC INTERIOR 75-80 degrees inside

What's her poop like?

I'd try vitamin therapy. Give 400IU Vitamin E along with 1/4 tablet B-Complex daily. Give a little egg to help with the uptake of E.

Do you feel she has Coccidiosis or are you giving the Corid just in case?

Very little poop, watery and white after egg and vitamin d. Did the corid once because I thought it was marecks. But then I learned about wry neck so I stopped the corid. Crop is full of air after 6 feedings every 3-5 hours. Peeping normally but very uncomfortable. I feel like the vitamin and syringe feeding isn’t helping. She is swallowing, and the crop was emptying but now this air bubble.

Oh, no!
That doesn't sound very good does it.

Is there air in the syringe when you're feeding her?

I'd take care so she doesn't aspirate the contents of the crop, but I'd try to gently massage the crop, see if the air will release.

Hi. No air in the syringe when feeding. It’s very weird. Here is the video update. Touch and go. Vitamin E 3-4 times a day one capsule. Force fed water and egg yolk first full day. Still very crooked neck and walking backwards and doing seizure like stuff. Almost put her down. Then started to have the air and what seemed like impacted crop I did one 1tsp coconut oil and it went down. Starved at this point I withheld food until I was watching her. Hopefully she stays back on track. She is lonely. Still has a little crooked neck down but overall is improving. Going to continue Vitamin E and Super B complex crushed in her food. HOPEFULLY THIS IS A HEN LOL!!!!

More…. Yes I was gently massaging the air and every now and then I would hear her chicken burp or air seemed to exit somewhere on the left side of her neck. SO WEIRD! She is VERY pissed I am syringe feeding her Vitmain E and coconut oil when needed but she is now drinking and eating on her own. LESSON learned for sure. Bets were against her. Things turned after 3 days. Thursday was bad and I saw minimal improvement Saturday and today is day and night better!

Thank you for your message. She had limited time with her other chick friends today (supervised). They’re doing good with her. Very happy to see her.

@Wyorp Rock and others following. Full RECOVERY! Absolutely outstanding. Did everything you suggested but doubled the dosage cause what did we have to lose. Gave the other feed store chick some to make sure she didn’t get it. She is a HE so anyone need a Rooster (I can’t have them in town) lol Auburn CA. Never buying feed store chick again.
