I’ve got a silkie chick who I’ve been treating for wry neck for 3-ish weeks now, and he’s only been getting worse. He used to just have a slightly tilted head, but now he’s often laying on his side, flailing around, his leg sometime just twitches, and he can only stand normally for a few seconds. When is it time to cull? I’ve been treating him with vitamin E twice a day, but his quality of life is so sad I am considering culling.
If culling is the best way about this, I’d like to know a nice way of doing so. Thank you for any advice!

Can you please post current photos of the chick and his poop?

If you have Video of his actions, that may help too. UPload to the BYC Gallery https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/how-to-upload-videos-to-the-gallery.1631126/

What do you feed, including any treats.

Photos of the Vitamin(s) you are giving may help too.
Wry Neck is a symptom, sometimes vitamin therapy can help, but it can take weeks to see improvement if vitamin deficiency is the problem.

General treatment is to give 400IU Vitamin E once daily along with 1/4 tablet B-Complex. Give a small amount of egg to help with the uptake of E.
