Possible Wry Neck? or something else? New Ducks (19 days old)

Well, its no worse this AM. May take a picture later for reference, but its no worse. Neither will I claim its any better - but all three of the birds are being blissfully quiet at the moment, I don't want to disturb them. They had a big breakfast and plenty of enhanced water. Checking out the weather forecast now, as I need their box for the chicken eggs about to hatch.

25 overnight, they get one more day in the RV.

40s and 50s after that, I'll move them to the grow out pen in the shed till they are ready for the barn space.

Cautiously optimistic. Bathed, clean box, eating and drinking well. Head seems "better attached" will be more confident in a few days of continued improvement.

Sad to say its back this AM, looks like the bird has its head on crooked. Continuing with the vitamin water, duck still has its balance, eating and drinking fine, active and still the largest of the three from this incubation.

My "gut" is telling me to suspect the food, which is the only change in routine I can think of. That bag has been shared with the rest of my flocks, which is both bad news in that everyone else has been exposed, and good news, in that its gone already. Only explanation I've got is that he's so young, growing so fast due to breed, and consuming so much (size relative to siblings) that whatever the cause is more evident in him than others, but that's rank speculation on my part.

Weather has improved, ducks are moving out of the RV to make room for the next batch of hatching chicks. The poor duck still has his head on crooked, and its still most pronounced in the AM, but he (assumed) is still eating, drinking, and shitting normally, no other birds showing symptoms. Seems otherwise healthy.

Will continue supportive vitamin water for the next few weeks. No picture. Not much to add.

Going to raise him to weight, assuming he stays otherwise happy and healthy, then put him on the Easter table.

Law of the farm.

Thanks all for your help. Appreciate the support. This thread will go dormant until/unless there is some significant change.
