Hello everyone,
Someone in my area is selling a trio of Salmon Faverolles. I currently have my coop (about 20 ft by 10 ft) split in half. Half are occupied by my layers, about 25 buff orpingtons. I have one cockerel (two if you count my "special" boy who has wry tail and it very small and quiet). I would plan on keeping them with my layer flock. The other half of my coop is 25 cockerels that will be going to freezer camp here shortly. I know I need to separate them for a month before integrating. How do you all do your isolation? I have an attached run to my coop on the layer side. I could put a dog porta-kennel inside the coop facing out to the run. Any other ideas? by the way, my buffs are 4 months old
