Hey friends! I have a little lady who is acting abnormal. Yesterday morning she was the last one out which isn't usual for her and gave me red flags immediately. When I got home from work I saw her hunkered in one spot in the run (with the other ladies) and she didn't want to move much. She was still standing but in the slightly squatting position. She was very lethargic and sleepy. I grabbed her and brought her inside to inspect for a bound egg, negative. She ate and drank a little and she slept overnight in the bathroom. Her poops seemed less than desirable and they make me question EYP? But I know I always jump to worst case scenario. Thoughts? I can take more pics as needed!

Adding: She went out with her flock this morning and seemed slightly more active but not a lot. I will check on her again when I get home. Thanks everyone!

She definitely has abnormal poops with yellow urates, and that is common with reproductive disorders, and water belly secondary to liver problems associated with reproductive infection, fatty liver disease, cancer, and more rarely, heart failure. I would give her a dose of calcium citrate with vitamin d in case she is trying to lay and egg or lash egg. Offer some mushy wet chicken feed with a bit of scrambled egg to get her eating and build up her strength. If you have Poultry NutriDrench or Poultry Cell offer her 1 ml twice a day.
