possum attacked last night!

that's good.
but that is one problem we are having. The thing climbed 8 feet of fence in and out. and it had the loose fence on top.

it's a freak of nature!

so we are going to keep an eye out tonight.

Do opossums have a season when they are breeding more than other times? Could that time be now? Would that make them more likely to be more ambitious to find food, especially protein in the form of chicken meat?

The reason I'm wondering is the one I recently caught had babies in her pouch. If yours is also a hungry mama it would explain her motivation to climb a tall fence.

I was just out side to check on them... bad news, there is also a skunk! I was so mad. I had a rock and everything ready to attack heathen style! and then it started to look funny so i ran one way and he ran the other. he came in through a hole though so i fixed that fast.
now im WAY off topic so ill stop here.
