possum

i had a possum on the back deck this evening eating the cats food. i'm worried it will be by the coop although i don't think he can get past the fence let alone inside. i went out side and chased it off the deck and it ran into the covered grill then went off the deck and out to the field. is there something i can put out to try and keep it away, cat food is now inside and will only be out when the cat is eating.any thoughts? thanks jim

If you have an outside dog, that would help. The best way to get rid of it is to shoot it. Not as tastey as coon but, you could feed it to your chickens if you don't like it.

I just had to shoot 2 possums...if they find food they will keep comming back even if its not there...yep my choice is a 22...
