opossums are great pest control. also, they don't tend to stay in one place for long. they move where the food is.

fish catches them pretty fair they can kill horses with the Encephalitis they are carriers of if they were so good at pest control there would be no spiders to find, the best way to get rid of all of them is to get rid of the one that is feeding them

Exactly. The possum I have is not proving great at pest control, I've found 3 tarantulas in the house in the past WEEK. Ever since we had a little rain this spring the bugs have been thick, must be making up for the lack of 'em last year during the drought. If anything I think the possum is under there scaring the creepy crawlies and making them flee into the house lol



Here's a pic I took of one of them next to the ceiling right above our bed. (ignore the masking tape from where I've been painting) I didn't know they could walk on walls like this, I've always seen them on the ground/floor. The next one I found was on the kitchen counter. That is *not* what you want to almost grab when you reach for a bowl!

OMG! If I had those in my house I would be packing my bags and moving out ! Above your bed? No way would I sleep, those are too CREEPY!
