SMALL DESERT ISLANDS TEND TO PRODUCE POPULATIONS WHERE MALES DO NOT DEVELOP SECONDARY PLUMAGE.
Essentially, males in juvenile plumage are tolerated by adult males. When most males remain in their juvenile or "henny" plumage
within a single island population, the flocks become more covey-like. They run, forage and fly as tight clouds of motion.

aussieheelr this is an amazing specimen. What is he and what's happened with him?

I've got Roosters.... I've got TOO MANY Roosters. Maybe if I make my home a 'nonprofit rooster rescue' there could be some sort of gov't bailout funds for me???
