Post Duck Hatching

Hi everyone!

I have successfully just hatched my first baby duck. I can’t find any information on what to do after the hatch. What do a i need to keep my humidity and temperature set on until it’s feathers are dry and it’s ready to be moved?

Is it the only egg hatching in incubator or are there others that still need to hatch?

I would drop humidity so your duckling can dry how long ago did it hatch?

An hour ago. The humidity is about 80 & the temperature is set on 99.5

You can crack lid of incubator to let humidity drop as long as temps stay 95 or so you will be fine.

If it's all set and warmed up to 95 in hot spot you can move him now to brooder just be sure he stays in warm end until fully dried.
