Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Can any of you remember Coco the chick that got caught in a rat trap? She was just about strangled to death when she was about 4 weeks old but she survived! She's the bottom hen now though but she still has her mam looking after her so she just hides behind her and sneaks into the top hen feeder next to her!

Could also be another good idea, although buff orps tend to be less agressive and slower that game roos, but still a good choise.

They seem like a great breed so hopefully I can get some soon, maybe I could even get a color other than buff :) and all your birds are so pretty :)

Would love some orp expertise!
This is my new Orpington, does she look like she could be a cockerel to you? And has anyone who has had orpington pullets ever noticed this weird bald feathering on the backside? Normal or no?

The bare bottom when they're feathering in is perfectly normal. And yes, that one could well be a cockerel given the short, stubby tail. All of mine that had that tail structure at this stage turned out to be male.
