Definitely alot to still work on with these Buffs. Their still young. I leanred last year to not judge a bird till they hit 8 or 9 months ole. Even then you maybe giving away a better bird then you originally intended. That is how I felt when I gave away for nothing their daddy. I am sure the lady who has him will be happy.
I am happy that I am proceeding forward with this line. ALOT of folks asked me WHY? I seen a show on HISTORY Channel the other nite talking about how, in AG, everyone uses what everyone else has. Same thing in Exhibition chickens. Well over half of the folks out there want the line of Buffs that routinely is placing well in show. I like that line too. But, I like Doug's line as well. Doug's line is very unique. He does not like to selll anything that has to be shipped. OR eggs. And the Captain's line is equally rare. I have a suspicious that Buff line MAY have some Coulter blood. His birds were huge too. So I am happy with these guys.

Yup Our Boss got his name from Bruce Springsteen because he is an all American boy and born in the USA..

Plus his name fit him well at the time, he was very cocky as a cockerel and thought he would be leaving the farm, but turned into a gentle giant after all and earned his right to stay.. Plus he has sired some mottled orp chicks as well plus many have his blood around the country to...
