First pic is a rooster, second pic looks to be a pullet on the left and rooster on the right.

With White, Blacks, Buff and the Buff as your rooster your just going to get a mix of odd colors in Orps. You can say they are Orps but their colors will be off with usually no two looking alike. My thoughts! Only thing that will pure of color will be the Buffs if you have Buff pullets/hens to go with the Buff rooster.

I finally got a few shots of my 5 1/2 week old babies. These are from Miss Prissy's eggs:

Note the staredown between the lone blue boy and the uppity little splash pullet

I was very fortunate. Those little splash girls are so pretty. I did have 3 black boys and 4 pullets I sold to give the 6 I kept more room. I'd love to get a really good black of a different line at some point down the road.

Here are a few shots of my favorite hen, Whitey, testing out the roost in the new coop:

Unfortunately, she may be my only hen out of 5 chicks. My blue may be a hen, but it's kind of ambiguous. The comb is kind of orangey instead of the dark pink of the definite roosters, and it's more docile and friendly than the roosters. But then, its comb is considerably bigger than Whitey's. Here's a video from a few weeks ago:

And here's one more picture of my sweet Whitey

More photos to add. My babies are about 12 weeks old. I am pretty happy so far. This is Willow my runt pullet. She has to sit on my lap every night for pets before bedtime. I just love her.

She will be one of my layers.

This is the best photo I could get of Violet's lovely lacing.

Now for my cockeral Desmond. I really want to try my hand at breeding blue orps.

I can just stare at them for hours

My beautiful boy has a problem of a light eye.
Would he pass that on? I will keep him for a flock rooster if nothing else.
