Congrats Bill, saw that hen in champion row and was wondering if that was yours. I know the lady that had the white rock. I have to compete against her at my county fair because she has some kids that show some of her birds. That hen looks great in the pics but looks even better in person.

Julie's Black pullet had no trouble defeating my other three 6 month ole Blk Pullets. The Blue cockerel had no other Blues to compete against. And jack told me that he can tell the Blue and Boss are brothers. Pretty hard to fool an old dude.

There were alot of nice birds there. I couldn't resist asking the White Rock lady for one. I am now a full fledged White Rock guy I guess. lolol

Oh wait did you get one from her? She has some nice birds Ive was thinking about getting some from her but I heard a bad story about her birds so I decided not to.

I haven't got anything yet. She took my cell number and hopefully will get me something next spring. I have her address and will wait and see. Hadn't heard anything yeah or nay about her. Just like that Rock.

well actually now that I think about it they didnt have anything for a couple mo after they got them so nvmd. and they were her RIR.

I believe I heard someone say Jeff Halbach is either the line she got her White Rock from or something like that. There was little doubt in my mind when I seen that White Rock in the American Class section he was going to win that and I knew he would thump on my little 6 month ole Buff pullet. He was like twice the size of her. And deserved to win. I told paul after the show, I could be a judge, cause I had that Rock singled out from the biginning as the best bird there. Well worth the time and money to meet people who have and share quality birds like the ones at this show. So, technically I did not bring home any birds. But, did reinforce my opportunites for my White bird breeding programs. Paul Montieth is bring me White Orps next fall and HOPEFULLY Mrs Weer will follow thru and get me a pullet someday. And IF not I am sure I can get a good one from someone else. But, boy that Rock ruled. IN my and apparently 3 judge's opinion.
