I'm pretty sure it is just a dark blue, I have a solid black as well in the brooder and you can definitely tell the difference. It is from a splash rooster and black hen = 100% blue, unless a mouse switched eggs on me when I wasn't looking.

John she is right. I didn't know there was a Black to Blue breeding. this past summer that is all I did with my 2 Blues and one Splash hen. They were all bred to blacks, I had zero splashes and or Blacks.

I think the cost of dues you have quoted are incorrect according to the UOC home page.

I copied and pasted the membership info from the UOC homepage. Just rechecked and its is still the same info.
.

Interesting, according to the UOC Home page that comes up on my computer it lists prices for membership as

Individual, 1 year $10.60
Junior, 1 year $5.45
Family, 1 year $15.75

Hey all, I started this question on the breeders and hatcheries section, but I thought I might ask it here too. I want to find out which hatchery has the broodiest orpingtons. So for those out there who got your fluffy butts from a hatchery, if you've got good broodies, let me know where you got them! Thanks!

Members receive a quarterly newsletter, All Orp,
a annual breeder's list and membership list.

Dues are 10.00 (individual), 15.00 (family:
Husband and wife and children under 16),
5.00 (ages 10-17).

The prices that you have have an added price since your using paypal. So they are both correct

Thank you so much. I didn't look on my UOC newsletter, but was looking on the home page of the UOC.

Thank you for explaining - it was making me nuts !! LOL.

First I have to get past Cowboygourmet and BuffBeauty. Terry has been showing here in Arkansas this year, so I have him to deal with as well. Then there is also Cowboygourmet's granddaughter! She is a killer in the showroom! Should be lots of fun with so many quality Buff Orps.
