Our eggs are well packed, but we have seen damage latelyin eggs we shipped . I have also received damaged eggs. The USPS is more concerned with the bottom line and making a profit than with customer service. See if the seller will send you some replacement eggs if you pay the shipping.
My b/b/s kids. They are about 4 months old. I have a definite boy splash and the black(hiding) is a boy. He's got a deformed comb so he's a goner(shhhh I haven't told him yet)
Sorry the pic is blurry. they wouldn't hold still and the camera couldn't focus.....
And of course my favorite dude!
My #2...He's a bit younger but he's coming along. He's a pain to photograph. He refuses to stand straight and still for more than 5 seconds!
Hey everyone,
One of my BO girls has a bit of a torn up neck. I'll post a picture when I can, but I cannot at the moment. She is eight weeks old and it seems as though Louie (my 1yr. 9mo. old rooster) has been trying to pre-maturely mate with her. Any advice as to what I should do? She slept in the garage in a dog crate last night, but now she's back with the others.
Thought you guys might like to see some of my 6 week old BBS orpington chicks. They are out of an English line, and I am so amazed at how big they are for their age. I am having so much fun with them.
This is my huge 6 week old Blue boy....he is still not even feathered out since he is growing so fast. Still looks like a dinosaur...lol

An 8 week old chick should NOT be anywhere near full grown chickens. They should be separated until they are the same size. They will kill the youngsters!
