Just seen that it appears a nasty mouse has widdled down 2 wing feathers on Sabbra Cadabra.
I will still take him to the show despite his condition to participate in fillin cages at the Lebanon Indiana Show, or the Central Indiana poultry Show. Bums me out some. He is just hittin 6 months old and showing some decent orp traits.

I agree with you from what I can see - the splash is questionable..... I would LUV to have a splash roo - im on the hunt for one myself lol...

well they are all pretty - too bad you got so many boys but it is nice you have a the mix

I have a little splash boy from Rebel Yell, 3/8 english and no lavender but I do have some decent solid black and BBS. I hesitate to show more pics till I get a decent one but I can understand wanting one. You can get so many blues and splash from one, especially if you have a decent black pullet and some blues. Keeping my fingers crossed that he's a good boy! So far, great type and size, but we'll see. Charley is only 3 months old. Also temperament is important to me. No aggressive roos will be tolerated here!

I agree - as I have said in previous posts - I got rid of a VERY georgous Black Oprington roo due to his aggression. Im curious about getting into showing - but I know nothing about it other than the fair every year. do you show?

No, I don't. I'd love to but the sanctioned shows are just too far for me to drive and handle birds, etc.

Gotcha

The only folks who get laughed, and really is more like feeling sorry for are those 4-Hers who show hatchery birds. No one walked up to me and laughed about me showing my New Hamp. And IF they did I would point them to the Champ English of the OPEN show who was the bird I shown in my avatar.
