She is a March hatch. I plan on taking her to my best Buff cock come next season to increase head size. That cock has a great wide tail. Should make some neat birds to play with

Just got woke up at 2:45 AM with Nicole's BOBs hatching. Loud mouths! We have 2 Buff Orpington Bantams so far with several more pipped! Almost woke Nicole up.

They are do Tuesday. Early bird gets the worm.

Brought the brooder tote back in and plugged it in to get warm.

I put 1 egg under a broody pullet I could not break up. In this hot weather she hatched her chick in 19 days! Those eggs are incubating without benefit of extra heat in these temps! At 106 temps, you'd better get those eggs inside quickly, or they'll cook.

Mine hatched early too. Summertime hatches always seem to come early. Nicole must be so excited. I am sure she has seen lots of hatches, but it is different when they are her birds.

boy I hope some of our weather spreads south and west to help everybody out..its 79 here today. i always have a problem with the humidity summer hatching even running de humidifier round the clock..thou that does work.have 2 super broodys right now but Im pretty much done for this year cause we are building the bigger barn..so hard to move everybody around in temp pens..so keeping a very few..cant wait...i wont ever have that many. but im liking some of the buffs im seeing..we,ll see...the more i see them the more i want them..the whites are nice thou too plymouth rocky for me, people keep telling me thats just the dorking they are supposed to be like that.i couldnt get past it thou...but these new buffs are impressive , hope you guys keep up the good work with them..every time i see them they get better and better...
