Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

just dont even ask about the mud, all i will say is, i hate sheep that trample pens when they are wet especially when they have a nice big field full of grass.

I don't exactly know what it is about that chick, but my gosh I love it!
haha thanks, people seem to love it but i prefer my cuckoo maran little boy :p, ihopefully its a girl so yous can see it when its all grown up!, mebys could be a mother its self next year!

Went to a big swap and took my Black Orp cockerel that we just couldn't keep (Already have a bantam Cochin cockerel who is my daughter's pet and a Swedish Flower Hen Cockerel who will be helping repopulate the planet with SFHs). I didn't mean to come home with any more Orpingtons due to limited coop space...

But I left with two beauties!

Coral - Lavender English Orpington pullet

Lady Silvia - also Lavender :)

I'm sure I'll be posting updated pictures of my beautiful girls regularly.

I had nothing to do yesterday, and my canon has been sitting around balancing a very hard line between paperweight and dust catcher...and with the weather being as absolutely beautiful as it's been, I decided to go shoot [with a camera] the hens.

I got some good ones! Which has me just tickled because it's so hard to get a good photo, they always come out blurry since they bob their heads or show me their butts every time I focus.
