Thanks Harry, I never hatch chicks in August. A lady in TN run me crazy wanting chicks and I said OK. The week they hatched we hit 115 deg and mailing chicks would not be good. I ended up with these late bird and Renie was looking for some and helped me get them a new home. They are out of my old Clevengers birds and a new guy I got from Fred.
 
Thank you .. I am very excited and we are very lucky ladies to have them. Yes Bama.. they are going to be BIG girls lol and thank you for helping me find such wonder pullets.
 
She is lovely with a nice head and comb. It looks like she is laying or about to.She's not too fluffy ! You can see her hocks clearly.

She just started laying. Thank you for the nice comment. This is the second time I have posted on this thread and both times you have commented and I appreciate the feedback. I am trying to get started with Orps and look forward to seeing how they turn out.
 
Drum roll please .............................. Vivian and I are please to announce we have received our first shipment of buff pullets from Don Chandler. More are forth coming after this storm is over. We are going to cross these lovelies with our Large Handsome Britt Buff Rooster.

Zooweemama... these girls are full sisters to the ones you have :) but from a later hatch.
