Nice rich even Buff color and great type. How many Orps were shown?

Our last national out there we had in the 80's, thats both standard and bantams. Haven't hears how many this year.

That is a big show. I hope our UOC Secretary was able to take a few pics.
I still have a Britt hen who has the nicest shade of Buff. I had her in with my Buff Sport cock. Now I am thinking of moving her out and put her with one of these cockerels I have. As it turned out my best type and size Buff cockerels all have that straw color. Almost like a lite blonde. IF I do what Dan H. says, I take the one who is a few shades to lite to one who is the deep dark Red Buff. More of the offspring will tend to be closer to the color desired. And ofcourse this Britt hen's color is even.
