It attacked another hen the same night at her, the other hen who got attacked was the one the stoat first attacked and she hardly has any feather left now!!, i think the orps son protected her because in the pic path of her feathers there was afew of his!

I know :/, a gamekeeper should be going up sometime after christmas, i kind of feel really bad because it will be my fault when it gets killed

Stoats are not nice little souls. Thry will try to kill almost anything , and bite you to the bone. It's him or the birds !
