It has been very cold here the last couple of days. Got down to -4 wind chill last nite.
I have been lucky to not loose any birds YET.
However my grand dad of my Cuckoos had to be brought in with his girl. He is not doing so well.
But I still have my 3 young Cuckoo cockerels.
And VIVI I brought in your soon to be young man.
Here he is and happy to be inside. Next two nites will be equally as cold. So he is in safe and sound for you.
He is still showing the effects from being outside during the blizzard.

Even Dexter
AKA TEX MESSENGER can't scare off the cold.
But he does a great job at sending loud annoying messages to those who are out in the nite up to no good. And I mean the 2 legged predators.

My dun/chocolate project birds. What colors should I get when crossing cho/dun to choc/dun. They look close to black but when with a true black bird they are not black.

You should ask Henk69 since I have seen a site where he went into detail about all these odd colors, sorry I can not remember where it was. Good luck.
