She's a cutie pie. How old is she?

She was 3 weeks old when I got her at the end of August so must be 24 weeks, she doesn't lay yet though but she is the head of the flock, shes HUGE! Noone messes with popcorn chicken!

WRV girl - I noticed that when I was looking through old posts! Great minds think alike and all that...

Hey Viv & Renie....here are some pics that I can't upload on the other site. I'll have to get better shots but at least you can see what I'm talking about when I talk about my girls. James did this all for me....didn't he do a great job? It's all put together with bolts so we can add on or widen in the future. They have a mix of peat and sand/dirt in their roofed pen yard section. Coop never goes below 35 and shuts off at 45 degrees in winter. Pen has lights and coop has heat lamp and a light! Has plexi-glass under the coop and plastic covering the wire hardware cloth so it's windproof. We live off water and it can get real bad for wind here so when it gets real bad we hang a orange heavy duty tarp off the kennel fencing you see in front of the pen area. It was -11 this morning and the coop was 37 degrees inside...all were safe!
