Oh gosh folks, too busy to pay attention to my own questions? Let me refresh you on my original answer: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/259995/post-pics-of-orps-orpingtons-here/8420#post_10245024
I missed you statement and I'm sorry. I have never said a work about your birds, I think you would enjoy showing birds. It's alot of fun and you meet people that breeds and shows good birds. I do promote orps, and I have gave away a whole lot more that I have ever sold. I have raised orpingtons because I like them, have been doing it about 40 years and learn something every day or two. Yes I was to busy to read your reply, we had folks over and played a little Rook. I'm done.

It would be a major change of pace to actually be talkin about Orps again. How to raise, breed, setting up breeding pens and like Don said SHOW EM. And Jon you are rite. I have been thru this many times on here and am use to this.

Don this maybe one of the better boys from that breeding pair I used. Still much more time in him to grow. Hope to have in better shape by the time of the spring shows. He's no 12.5 pounder. Not yet.
But here is one who is, to compare with.

Great looking bantam Jon. I sure hope you can get some chicks from him before he decides to retire.

I am glad we are getting back to where I ended last night. I have never met you in person but have communicated via email about Orps. You gave me contact information to a very nice lady fairly close to me and I have acquired 3 of her Orps. They are my best looking ones for the APA standard. I don't know what I am doing with the Orps but I am very grateful for all the help you provided. When the weather clears up here in E. TN it will be a good time to post new pics of them. They are my foundation and I hope to breed more like them.

The English I have will be used to cross with what I consider substandard Orps in hopes of improving them and allowing me to have 2 separate bloodlines to work with. It may turn out to be a failure but its worth a shot.
