They hatched at the same time and are almost 6 months old!!
I was able to try to get a few more shots of my only Buff cockerel. I want to say is 8/9 months now. He's all I have until Spring when I might get another. I will share some random pics of my little sweeties first and then end with my dude's pics (including a funny one lol). Thanks for looking and commenting. I'm posting to learn and grow.

Love those girls. The smaller hen from HeavenSent has a lovely head, and your best comb. Wouldn't you know ! Chief has gotten big.I'd like to see a higher tail set on him, and a much neater comb without serrations. These photos make him look darker on top, and lighter on the bottom, particularly in his under fluff. Are his wings clear gold to the ends of the shafts ? It, again, might just be a trick of light in the photo with his wings out. Love the big Black girl ! What a nice group to watch. Lucky you.A break in the weather but it was so cold here in Nor Cal. this sweet girl comes from Deb from Heaven Sent. A little more petite than my other girls.
My favorite! Betty is so big and fluffy.
Ok now for the funny one. I have 3 roosters- 1 bantam BLRW, 1 FBCM and Chief my Buff Orp. The bantam is the top guy. He chases my Marans and Orp away from all the ladies all the time. lol
And these are a few shots of Chief.
I am really curious what your thoughts on Chief are. He's a big guy. He is bigger than my Marans - and that's not a small guy either. I hope I got enough of the right angles. I think I missed shooting down right? I tried to get profile shots, close ups and face on. Thanks!
