I have a few missing parts from fights too. Most of the time it is a hen who decides to go broody on the community nest. The alpha hen does not put up with that nonsence and will do everything she can to get them off.

I hope she won which ever hen it was that she was fighting, My pecking order is messed up, there isnt a alpha hen, each hen has others above them :/

Love the pugs! I have a part pug..he was thrown from a truck.abandoned...there are some bad people out there..he Was running around with broken leg..we had him patched up..they had break and reset leg..they were afraid of him..I had to muzzle him to get him into vets...it was like catching a wild tiger When we found him running around starving....he trusted no one...took me 6 months or so Just to win him over..he has bitten more construction workers than you can count...he means it too..doesn't like men one bit..thinks he's my baby

and Don Chandler , when there was a lot of things going on, forever indebted to you that you were kind enough to offer me some birds..I dont forget things like that..You are good people too..I only want to try and do the best I can and have a good time.....emphasis on have a good time..I have high stress job..mass trauma packs ect..when I come home, this is my escape along with art....

When you do a little kindness for someone, it comes back to you..call it karma , reap what you sow..but its the law of nature and God..every bad thing you throw out boomerangs eventually, it is the same with kindness.. I see Bob whitney sit on champion row year after year after year..doesnt matter what show doesnt matter where..maine , ohio, maryland,NY Pa, vermont ect.....Know why? the things he does for people,,hard work and focus..the people invented a giant trophy called the good sportmanship award..his name is on that award so many times Ive lost count..
good things happen to good people..may not be today, may not be tommorrow..but it will..thats the way the world works.

Helipad....quiet for a few mins..then they come roaring in..we wound up building 2 helipads..so other copters wouldnt have to circle around waiting



And the great escape..chickens are good for you..I pick up that big blue chicken and the bad in the world melts away..I just get lost in these chickens
