Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

I can't stand to see what looks like those animals huddled together like that In that fire picture....it's just heartbreaking no matter where they came from.

No matter who they belonged to it's horrible thing..I can't even look at it.

This is what I was told. All the time we see egg auction listing that the seller has this line or that one. No matter what lines she had, it is all a tragedy. I never seen the Bantams, but believe a 4 year old lost her Frizzle and Sebright bantams. Instead of dissecting her photos, we should all be trying help her restore her flocks. I have recently been there and know how she feels. The outpouring of support from so many was nice. We chose to ignore a very few rude emails. Folks Tammy acquired her stock from may not have been honest. But we should offer what moral support we can. Many times I have seen youth exhibiting almost hatchery stock that they claimed was from a top breeder. It may have been, but was culls. I plan on sending some hatching eggs Tammy's way as soon as I am able. I would encourage others to do the same. Those that have helped my children to reestablish our flocks is greatly appreciated.

We must help the youth of the Fancy! They are our future! All the years of hard work is meaningless if we have no one to pass our line on to.

Post her web site again, the one you posted was wrong!!

I don't have any.. guess I better check into it. House insurance will pay for the chicken house... but not its contents that I know about.

My policy covers all my outbuildings and contents. I also have a "rider" to cover my show horse should he up and die or get killed. The cost is negligible compared to loosing everything.

ETA: Her's was a composite flock of American SOP type, and imported lines from several breeders, including some from Greenfire and others.

That is news to me.... Greenfire didn't/doesn't have English Buffs.... and you have already told us her birds were from Marc....< he says and I believe him that those birds are not his.... They truly lack quality....THEN either she or someone else is using her info and pictures to advertise an auction for 100% English Imported Buff hatching eggs on another site... ummm While I do feel grief for their loss... there is just tooooooo many discrepancies. :( I wouldn't touch this with a 10ft pole. but that is just my opinion.
totally agree too
