Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

I would if i knew what they were...
Her petticoats are all those fluffy feathers below her wings and under her tail. Skirts, so to speak. Part those feathers, and snap a photo showing the entire length of those feathers to the skin.I'll bet there's no white there, just light buff.

I will get a pic of under then :)

Some of these boys heads I am hoping to take advantage of this season. Just setting up breeding pens. 2 of the three Akers boys have the heads I like. I have several different lines I want to breed them too. This week I hope to have everyone in the pens to start off the season.

Nice head on this boy

One more Buff pen in the works. A BYCer wrote me today about getting some Buffs. AFTER I TAKE CARE OF MYSELF this breeding season, come this fall the BYCer will get a nice duo or trio. She will not have to pay $100 a bird either. Yet alone a chick!

After a good mud wrestling between the 2 hens, all is well now in this pen. LEE your girl decided to let the Britt hen be the queen. Still I am weeding thru my 13 Buff boys, and the king of this pen will change as the season progresses. The 2 wrestlers are the girls upfront. Hope they have settled this.

This is the smart girl. She is just a pullet and wanted no part in the fighting.

This is LEE's girl. She is a legit 10 pounder. AND IT SHOWS.

I like that roo... second from the bottom :)

I have 10 boys from last year to choose from my Britt/Akers line. Not counting my 3 Akers cockerels I hatched and the old cock I bought for $20 from Doug at a show. Doug is truelly a very good man for our hobby. Buff Orp fans are lucky to have a great breeder who is willing to help out those in our UOC. It pays to go to APA Shows and see his birds he enters.
