Yes it's truly a fun hobby. Here is a pic of my trio. Not a good one, it was a really windy day and they were enjoying messing up my rosebed in the front for a while. They are 4 1/2 months old.

Beautiful, simply stunning birds! I love their deep, clean gold color. They seem to be quite busy re arranging your rose-bed.

Thank you very much! They are chips off the old block. That gold in the sunlight just glows and they are still getting new feathers in but that boy is buff all the way to the skin.

Talk about a chip off the block ! Prince Harry is watching out for his girls just as his dad, Monty, does. He'll make a nice Roo.Good thing as he'll eat you out of house and home before he's grown. He might just need a ticket to Knoxville........
I beg your pardon. He only needs a ticket to go wherever I do, thanks much! hehe! Bless his kind heart. He really is a sweet boy. I've raised my share of roosters in the last few years, and he is the very sweetest of them all. Yes, he does have that "eating gene." My GOD that boy eats! And at this age, well, his skull is wider than I'd have ever believed a 4 1/2 - 5 month old chicken could ever have!
I'm so dumb! I forgot that's where the national is this year! I'd love to go even with no birds though. That's my mothers home town.

This is one of the 9 month old pullets I bought as a day old chick from Christina. She is the largest of the pullets at 9lb 1oz. The light on her breast is a reflection, not leakage. I'm hoping to get a nice Lavender cock someday to put over a few of these beautiful girls.
