Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Bella's mother is just so aggressive. My Jack Russel was sniffing the chicks last week so she give him a ferm peck on the nose and a couple of days later, he did it again so she ripped the skin off his nose! I think he even let out a little squeal, Now he has a little pink part to his nose, its not all black anymore.

I probably shouldn't have giggled, but I did.

I did too. Johnn, that's what momma chicken is supposed to do! My best broody will even peck the snot out of ME if I get too close to her babies. Any other time, even when she's setting the nest, she won't mess with me.

I finally got it!, I think? I've been tring all week to get these little fluffbutts posted and have had such a hard time

Well, anyway. Here they are!

Thank you, Roger!

I was really surprised that my broody Orp has not been aggressive to me but now the cat is a different story!

So cute! I love the splash ones. I am hoping for a splash this year. I have a hen setting on 8-10 eggs with most of them being Orp eggs. If she doesn't hatch a splash then it will be next year before I try again, unless I get another broody.

That brown chick looks like a K. Give him away quick, and grab the Buff boy !
Brown is a girl I think, it has a comb but is a Welsummer and has the girl feathering. The one who I think is a boy is a Speckled Sussex, which is hanging out the back of her! If that ends up a girl I will be on the hunt for a Buff boy!
