Wow beautiful birds, I cant wait till mine get out of the teenage stage.
And I'm torn on how to pick a rooster. They need to grow up some more.
With the buffs is the lighter buff or the darker better in the rooster?

My birds are free range at least at present. I take photos as I feel like it. Here's a buff cuckoo (or barred) pic from earlier this year.

The pullet the front of ths pic is a cull from that line.

This is Lavender Cuckoo Orp X Buff Orp whose pic I took the other day.

I have also dark cuckoo, red cuckoo & a very pale yellow cuckoo.
And there are also the barred mille fleur birds.
