Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Really nice blacks there. You should have a lot to put in the show ring next year.

I have to say that I'm astounded by all the beautiful Orps on this thread. I have one Buff Orp hen and I just got eggs from this gorgeous white frizzled Orp. I fell in love with her and had to have eggs from her. To me she looks like a beautiful lady!

ETA: Pic won't upload right now. I'll add later.

I will actually show some of these 6 month oles I hatched from those pullets & Carl. Surprisingly, Carlos's brother, who is nicer, has yet to produce a chick. Carlos has about 15 babies walking the earth. Here are 4 of them.

Mine are just babies, and they're still kinda shy:

Tennessee, I look forward to seeing a pic of your frizzled Orp. Sounds interesting.

Bill, those are lovely. Don't give up on the large one. some are just late maturing in the breeding area than others.
Tala those are some pretty chicks. Thanks for sharing their photos.

I have a quick question for you oprington people
tongue.png
Do Orp babies feather slowly? Like REAL slowly? I have a chick thats a quarter orpington, a quarter red star, and half barnyard mix. She looks like her Orpington/RedStar cross daddy, but has as many feathers as a two week old. But, she had shafts forming a week ago, but anothing chick pulled them ALL out. She is now 7 weeks old.
