Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

I am looking for some bantam Orp eggs to replace a chick we lost tragically a few days ago. This one was buff and just feathering but am open to any color. We have not had Orps until we were given half a dozen eggs and only one hatched. He/she was the cutest little buff thing and very nice to hold even so young. 6 eggs would be enough for us.
Three months ago I sent someone money for eggs and they are not responding. The check was not cashed but... no eggs, no communication and I don't work that way!
If anyone reads this and can help me out, please PM me with cost and such.
Thanks for your time.

Their my play around with and see IF I know anything about breeding pen. I feel most of my birds I am just mannin the ship and not building the boat, most of my flocks I'm trying to keep from screwing them up, with these I can actually try to breed with everyday Buffs and see IF I can make one or two worth keepin. I've been told to get rid of them and just concentrate on my main Buff flocks.

I've seen some very beautiful Orpingtons on this thread. The Blues & Lavendars are particularly interesting. I was wondering how those color projects are coming along with setting/ proving the color in the generations of offspring. There is a lot of interest in different colored Faverolles lately. I haven't tried it yet, but certainly have been tempted & am admiring them. Can some of the Blue or Lavendar Orp breeders post some more pics & maybe even add comments on their breeding projects. Just love the Orps & they get along well with my Favs as far a temperment.

Here is Jane, my Buff Orpington Pullet.

I think she is going to turn out really well. She has nice feet, and a nice small comb!

Great color! I wish mine were that rich a Buff color.

Thanks!

She used to be a very very light Buff Color, but in the last few weeks she turned much darker! My flock of BOs aren't that great of quaility. But it seems the off spring from them are awesome!

No birds are perfect. Just need to be selective in the breeders.
