Not a roo, you have a pullet.

For the longest time I was confused on my Blue/Splash Orps, but by 8 weeks the difference became very obvious. I'm confident you have a girl.

I think pullet also. Wow, the lav orps are really lav - I have a lav Ameraucana who is so very pale, sometimes he seems like a dingy white.

Pics!

My roo. I like him and he usually has a better tail but the geese have been teething on it!

Great pictures, Sarah!

I took a few pictures today, too. It is so hard to get pictures, as they are in a huge run that is totally shaded, and the pictures are most always too dark to see. These are Bama Orps 13 wks old...

Those look great Kathy. Here are some photos i took this afternoon of some of my oldest hatches from the year. All are going to be five months old on the Fourth of july except for four I got back from Imogene that were hatched three weeks earlier.

A couple pictures at roost time tonight. These are 11 1/2 week old Orps from Dick Horstman chicks. They are about 2/3 the size of my 13 week old Bama chicks. Amazing, the difference in size in different stock, or they grow at a different rate maybe. I am anxious to see how they all turn out. I really do love Orps .... big, fat, fluffy Orps!
