Here you go.
We finally got some rain, and they just got feed again. Very popular time of the day.
For now I am thinking of using a few of the lessor quality Buff pullets to these boys in addition to the Black splits and non splits.

My garbage truck is coming earlier then ever, and I missed culling a few more cockerels out today. Next week two or more will go.

I had my Cuckoo Wyandotte sneak in my top Black Orp pen in May, right when I moved DOC in. And hatched a few with lite eye. That are perfect for my new herd of Cuckoo Lav split cockerels.

You must have posted those while I was typing. Thanks for sharing. So you're working on cuckoo orps? Cool!

There is alot I can do with Cuckoos. Asides from just making more I can also work with the Lemon Cuckoo at the same time. For now it is just to build a small flock. One of these boys has a great head. And nice thick legs. We will see how they grow out. So, yeah I am into them.

Actually the lemon cuckoos i've seen have such subtle barring (guess it's because the contrast is white) that I'm leaning toward loving the mottled and the jubilee...CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE YOURS!!!

I wouldn't mind gettin beat by Terry Britt. I get beat by Doug when he enters all the time. Why not Terry too. lololol

It is amzing what some sunlite will do with these Buffs. All these pics were taken with zero photo enhancing, just the sun plays tricks with their true Buff color. The real color is somewhere inbetween the group pic and the up close pix
I am only taking 4 outta 5 of these 8 month ole cockerels. Their sister is cleaned and ready, but will stay home.
This 6 month ole bumped her, can't tell by the pic how nice her head is. She is going too.

Depending on the angle of the sun varies these pix true color.
