Congradulations Buffbeauty and daughter!!!!

Just heard that Buffbeauty took best English with her buff orp hen and her daughter took best Junior English with a buff orp pullet at the Spring Livestock Show in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Also one of our Drew County 4H Poultry Club members won Champion Modern Game Bantam with her MGB.

One of our "cull" Buff "Orpington" Duck young drakes beat some really good Cayugas for Best Medium Duck. We just could not keep them all! Congradulations Josh!

Have to work this afternoon/evening and could not attend the show.

Went to our State Fair Spring Show today. Final results.... my daughter won champ English, champ large fowl, and reserve champ of show with her buff orp pullet and best bantam duck, best duck, and champ waterfowl with a white call cock bird. Then with my buff orp hen I won same awards. Due to donations made by P. Allen Smith's heritage poultry conservancy and normal fair jackpots between the 2 of us we won somewhere around ALOT!! What a day!!

Here's an update on my 2 Olive egg orps for lockedhearts. It almost looks like the spash? one has a pea comb???? maybe an EE snuck in the pen a couple of generations ago???

Or is it because of the olive gene?

Here's a few of my BBS chicks, they're 2 weeks old today and are growing fast. The solid lavender and black chicks with a little brown on their head are some mutts from a lav orp roo and coronation splits.

could someone help me out with these colors? Is the chick on the left a splash and the one next to her a blue, next to a black? don't worry about the lav colored one at the bottom==mutt.

Is the one on the top left a splash?

Is this one in the middle a blue?
