None of my orpington roosters are aggressive, I actually show one of them and he is great to work with! I think for the most part they are a docile breed.

In my limited experience, I would venture to guess that you can have a "bad apple" in any breed. I have a 6 month old orp roo who is going to freezer camp tomorrow. He is respectfull of me, good with the ladies but corners, pecks and tries to stomp on my 8 week old youngsters. He got one pinned down for the last time today. I have four other roos, the WL and NH ignore the youngsters, the two BCM boys actually try to woo them and gently herd them around, it is darling to watch

I am always incorporating youngsters so the boys must be good with them!!!

for the most part our orp roos are great.we have one that my kids carry around every where he will even sit in the chair next to you so sweet.but we have a couple that can be agrasive worst we had were our lavs very mean selling them to start with a new line.but most of our blacks an blues are great just big fluffy babies.we just got our shipment of eggs from renie's peeps sent three extras an were packed great.very easy to work with an keep in constant contact till we got them would def tell anyone who is looking for hatching eggs talk to her very happy with our experience with her.thanks irene

i'm not sure if it was this thread or another forum... I remember reading something about orps being feather sexable? is this true, and whats male or female? I definitely see longer and shorter feathers on my chicks of the same age.
Thanks
