Hello all!
Just wanted to say that a couple of my Buff hens are laying!! They are only 5.5-6months old and I'm not sure which ones are laying. They are laying fairly small eggs and they are NOT bantams so should their eggs end up around the size of my Red Sex Links eggs or are their eggs going to stay that small size. I won't be able to get up a picture of the size until sometime after Sunday, but that's the news!

~At what age should you be able to tell the sex of ur Orpingtons??? I have some 14 weeks & some 10 weeks old & I still can't tell if pullets or cockerels~no one is crowing. I can tell at early age sex of my EE's~Welsummer & Marans. Also does LF mean 'left foot?'

LahFawnDuh is my Russ Milkey broody Black hen in with Flotilla. She covering 5 eggs at this moment. A true sweetheart! I like her ALOT especially her head.

Now for something you all seen before. But had one write me and ask me to make some more Lemon Blue Orps. So come this fall I will move her in with Spanky, my son of Bamma Chickens Blue cock I called Doctor "J", aka DOC.

This is a slam dunk project. She has the type to use with him. So let's give it a go.
