I know this is for Orps. Do Orp X count? Here are two Whooops that turned out kinda cool. The first is crele colored Orp X and the second is Isabel (Lemon Cuckoo Orp X Lav. Orp).
I am planning to put the Crele Orp in with my Eng Black rooster. Apparently, all the male chicks will be Cuckoo and the females will be black. I will then take the Cuckoo roo and cover back onto its mom to get cukoo colored Orps. Think it will work?
A couple of pics of the younger ones.
Here is the GREAT MONSOON now outside growin out. He likes to distance himself from the others in his pen.
Another young pullet in with the older Buff growouts
And finally my 4 Doug Buffs I hatched out in Mid May. Their several weeks from heading outside.

On the bottom pic, are they pullets or roo's? I have some blue "pullets" born in early May and they have good size combs and waddles, not really red yet, but they're definitely there., more like your bottom chick than the top one. I also have two hens about a month older that have little to no comb or waddles, so I'm a bit concerned. I know pictures are better, but just curious..when would you expect your pullets combs & waddles to start showing? Thanks
