isnt that boy adorable..i love that charles gave the opportunity to raven..kids are so important to the future plus hes a clean slate to develope..older people sometimes act worse than kids..at the same time they know better than to pick on kids. smart move .a great opportunity for the kid and the crochety old poultry keepers wouldnt dare pick on him or be hen pecked real bad...not kidding, crochety old chicken men pick on that boy...old poultry women will ring their necks..

Hahaha Great take on it! I bet you're right. And I also bet the reason the Prince took so long to reply is that backgrounds/etc. were being checked out first, plus the quality of birds. What an honor!

i gathered from his experience that the prince has probably had a run in or 2 with those grumpy old men , the film about ray connor said same thing..some of those guys mom forgot to teach them manners..and respect...they'll learn respect real quick if they make a move to pick on that little boy..old chicken women will teach them a lesson in good manners that they wont forget.


plus look at those birds!.. butterscotch sundaes..my lordy they are nice...

i smiled as soon as i saw the pic, and thought, this man is no dummy.

i would too jeremy..i looked at the hatching eggs. very reasonable...oh if it was just that easy..i would say merry christmas jeremy....and merry christmas to myself.did you see the hen on their home page ? my goodness..

your blues are every bit as good as theirs jeremy, check it out..maybe its just their camera but yours are slightly richer color.

Well we have american orpingtons... they have english orpingtons.... there is a differnce, and since I don't show and just love the characteristics all around of the orpington I am content with what I have. I will keep them orpingtons and not out cross them. But I will enjoy a variation in color.... besides I can't afford fancy
