Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Mrs Pumphry at 5 months and 3 weeks. She laying!!! She and Monty should produce some nice English Buff Orps.

Some of the Gang is the orchard eating pears . The asparagus are off limits.

Monty at 5 Months, 3 weeks. He just keeps getting bigger and broader. Excuse the grubby face and shirt front. He's been pigging out on pears.

Very nice!

Just noticed your signature:

50 years breeding and showing standard bred poultry.ABA Life Member #7, and Master Exhibitor.

ABA Life Member #7? You have been around the Fancy awhile! Privately a very important person suggested I learn about conditioning from you. Have you considered a thread on conditioning birds for show. I know we would all enjoy it!

I'd be glad to answer any questions from Orp people. My birds at the moment are not being conditioned for show, but for growth, breeding, and general good health. That is, however, the first step in conditioning a show bird. There are lots more steps, but you have to start with properly raised birds.

Well looks like the World of Buff Orps is Going to get Very Interesting in the Next Few Years. I believe the Bar May be Getting Raised. Should be some Awesome Buffs Around.
